A rich, living soil

Vines thrive in impoverished and even arid soil. Their highly-developed root system can seek out water at depths of up to 20 metres, while capturing the nutrients and minerals present in the soil as they go.

Château Sainte Roseline is located on a clay-limestone terroir, with a balanced soil combining the freshness of clay with the filtering properties of limestone.

Mourvèdre

The Mourvèdre grape needs plentiful sunshine to ripen, so it fares best in Mediterranean climates. It matures slowly and is harvested quite late in the season, from end September to early October.

Style : Wines made with Mourvèdre are highly aromatic, round and complex.

Our exceptional "Cuvée La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline" wine is made with Mourvèdre grapes and partially aged in wood casks.
