Vines and olive trees have thrived on this soil since ancient times. Olive trees can often be seen growing around vine plots – they produce olive oil used in family dishes and ensure the self-sufficiency so dear to the country folk of Provence

Château Sainte Roseline is home to around a thousand olive trees spread over 7.5 acres of land. Our veteran tree is said to be 150 years old.

Provencal olive varieties, such as Picholine, Cailletier and Aglandau, are blended to produce our olive oil, sold exclusively at the tasting room.

Sémillon Blanc

The Sémillon Blanc grape originates from Bordeaux. Its fruit is large and grows in big bunches. In Provence, it is used to make fine dry white wines.

Aromas : magnificent fruity and floral fragrances.

Style : smooth and round, it produces Provence white wines with very low acidity.

Sémillon is one of the grapes used to blend our iconic "Lampe de Méduse" white wine.
