Biodiversity, the vineyard's treasure

Set at the heart of Château Sainte Roseline, the Bois Saint Charles is beautiful natural wood. It shelters numerous plant and animal species and helps maintain the vineyard's biodiversity. Spanning 124 acres, it is home to insects, birds, mammals and reptiles and provides natural protection against harmful species. Bats, for example, play a vital role in fighting against moths that devastate the vines.

Cinsault

Cinsault is an ancient black grape variety producing white juice that is probably indigenous to Provence. Its ample bunches bear large, very juicy fruit.

Grenache
ldm cinsault

Aromas : Smooth and non-acidic, with a low alcohol content and pale colour, it offers up aromas of red berries (predominantly raspberry), dried fruit and white flowers.

Style : Cinsault brings lightness and freshness to the wine, balancing out the strength of its peers.

Paired with Grenache, Cinsault yields rosé wines with the excellent balance of freshness and aromatic potency found in all our AOP Côte de Provence rosé wines.
